      Harold Reese Barnett,age 66, of 2537 Myers Road, Shelby, died Monday morning at Peoples Hospital in Mansfield after an extended illness. He was born November 22, 1927 in Myers, Kentucky the son of Lacy and Florene (Briggs) Barnett.

      He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Hall) Barnett, whom he married on November 13, 1948; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Richard W. and Sandra Barnett of Willard and John E. and Kathleen Barnett of Dayton; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Carla A. and Dave Viers and Susan and Rick Steel all of Shelby; 9 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Cecil Vice of Illinois and Henry Barnett of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents and by 1 sister Martha Hamm.
