      Lieutenant Colonel David E. Doddridge, for Vineland, N. J., High School football star, was married in St. Mark's Cathedral, London, Jan. 20, in the presence of royalty, his mother, Mrs. Mildred Hall, of Elmer road, South Vineland, announced yesterday.

      Colonel Doddridge's bride is the former Eleanor Rose Shaw, 22, a niece of Sir Hugo and Lady Cunliffe Owen, of Sunningdale Park, Berkshirem England. At the ceremony were an aunt of King George and and Princess Louise, who signed the marriage certificate and the register.

      The Chinese Ambassador, according to Mrs. Hall, was among the 300 guests. Colonel Doddridge, 27, was a member of the R.O..T. C. at Temple University and six years ago enlisted in the Army as a private. Colonel Doddridge, who went overseas in April, 1942, is a finance officer with the U. S. Army Air Forces.
