Weiss says he was ord. Sept. 20, 1619; Curate at Denton, Norfolk, and at Wrentham, Suffolk, Eng. but an article by Prof. Wm. F. Allen of Madison, WI in English Origins of New England Families, Second Series, Vol. 1 claims that this John Allin was not the minister who was ord.
