  From FindaGrave: Elaine and Lawrence were married in 1932. Elaine was born on the Anderson Creek Ranch, between Montour and Emmett. She was premature, born at 7 months weighing just 3 pounds. She overcame this, as well as polio at age one, to have a happy normal life as a mother and elementary school teacher.
