  From FindaGrave: Following Bio from Tracy Sue (member #48012798 ): John Macomber was born on March 18, 1681, in Taunton, Massachusetts, to Anna Evans, age 23, and John Macomber, age 23. They married on 16 July 1678 at Taunton. John married Elizabeth Williams in Taunton, Massachusetts, on March 17, 1707, when he was 25 years old. They had eight children in 23 years. In 1747, John Macomber was living in Taunton, Massachusetts when King George's War wreaked havoc on the area. John remarried on 12 July 1733 to Lydia (King) Williams, b. 3 Mar 1688 and d. 31 Mar 1748. She was the widow of Nathaniel Williams.
