  From FindaGrave: Edward II was a "Gentleman Merchant" who traded between Plymouth and Newport Harbor. His home was the first built in Tiverton and he is considered one of the founders of that town. The house was on the main road between Newport and Boston, and not far from the intersection known as "Four Corners." He first married Mary Smith, daughter of Phillip and Mary Slade Smith. Their children were: Edward III 1693, Mary 1691, Elizabeth 1694, Sarah 1697, Phoebe 1699, Phillip 1701, Hannah 1707 and Thomas 1704. Mary died in 1710. Edward II then married 2nd Mary Manchester, daughter of William and Mary Cook Manchester. Their children were:John 1712, Lydia 1714, William 1716, and Samuel 1718 (see record 20495342). in 1726, Edward's will was probated at Tiverton, and the executors were his sons Phillip and Thomas.
