  From FindaGrave: John was the son of John Adams and Agnes Stone. He married Katherine Stone. They were the parents of: Richard Adams Katherine Adams Capt. John Adams Mary Adams John was the brother of Henry Adams who emigrated with his wife Edith and children to the new colonies in Massachusetts. John Adams; b. c1577 at Barton St. David; moved to Misterton, Somerset, with his parents; after his father's death he moved to Compton Dundon (3 miles west of Barton St. David) apparently to comply with a provision of his father's will that he be living on his own before receiving his inheritance.
