  From FindaGrave: Peter married Sarah Hall. They were the parents of T Elwood Collins. History of Kossuth and Humboldt Co, Iowa - page 753 - T Ellwood Collins settled where he now lives, one of the few old settlers who are still residents of the township. He was born in New York in 1830 and is the son of Peter and Sarah Hall Collins. The former was born in 1804 in Rhode Island and died in Humboldt county in 1876. The latter was a native of New York born in 1803 and died in Cedar Co, Iowa in 1870.
