      W.A. "Bert" Merrill was married 03 May 1890 in Scott County, Iowa, to Eunice Hall. Eunice was born 11 May 1864 in Davenport, Scott, Iowa, daughter of James Mortimer Fayette Hall and Martha Call Daly, and she died 29 July 1936 in Riverbank, Stanislaus CO, California. They had at least five children:
      ---Sewell Egbert 1890-1935;
      ---Helen 1893-1980 (m. Fluitt);
      ---Hester Eunice 1895-1996 (m. Dodge);
      ---Harwood 1899-1975; and
      ---Martha Caroline 1900-2000 (m. Simpson).

      Sent to Riverbank CA from Albuquerque for burial.
