  • Notes
    • from FindaGrave:

John Fisher was born in Medfield, Norfolk, Massachusetts, on September 9, 1687. He was the son of John and Mary Metcalfe Fisher. John married Rebecca Wheelock of Mendon, Worcester County, sometime in 1712, probably in Mendon. John died on February 2, 1713, at Medfield, while Rebecca was carrying their first child, a daughter later named Rebeckah. Rebecca the widow later married Jeremiah Adams in Mendon. There was only one cemetery in use in the Medfield area at the time of John's death, Vine Lake Cemetery, so that is very likely where John is buried. It is a very large cemetery with many unmarked graves.

Record of the marriage of John and Rebecca Wheelock is not to be found anywhere. They were probably married in Mendon, the bride's hometown.
