      Mother to Private Henry B Blodgett who died at age 16 who was wounded outside Richmond, Va. He died in Philadelphia.

      Her first husband, Nathaniel F. Blodgett and father to Henry died from consumption in 1853.

      She remarried Capt Jediah Calacar who coincidently was a Captian in the 22nd Mass Regiment, Company D, which is the same regiment her son Henry enlisted in.

      They married November 20, 1885 and he died two years later in 1887, at that time she started received a civil war pension from her son Henry.
