  From FindaGrave: David Hale early in his marriage went to Groton NH but returned to Hollis sometime in the early 1790's. He and Betsey had 12 children listed in the Hale family register in the possession of the Hollis Historical Society. David apparently was a Doctor but did not practice like his brother William. David lived on 2A sh Street in Hollis. He later lived with his sister Rebecca Ames at 4 Maple Knoll Road (corner of Broad and Maple Knoll). David Hale served in the Revolutionary War with Capt. Daniel Emerson on the expedition to RI in 1778.
