    • From FindaGrave:

The Pinney's were members of the Scioto Company, arriving in Worthington the Spring of 1803.

Polly's marriage to to Captain Abner "Putman" Pinney was the first marriage in Worthington and it was a double ceremony with Abner's brother Levi and Charlotte (Beach) Pinney.

The Pinney's were active in St. John's Episcopal Church when it was organized in April 1804. Also, they were one of the incorporators of the church in 1807.
