  • Notes
    • John sat under the ministry of Rev. Nehemiah Hobert, in the First Congregational Church of Cambridge, until his 17th year of age.  Mr Hobert died 1716, age 64; he was a Fellow in Harvard College, and in a memorial sermon for him, notice is made of a remark of Deacon Hall concerning his preaching; it appears evident that John Hall lived in or near Cambridge all of his life and that he held the office of a deacon.
