Russell John Hall of West Harwich, MA passed away in his home on January 30, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Buffalo, NY on February 15, 1928, he served in the US Army after graduating from high school. He graduated from University of
Detroit and began his career as an electrical engineer, eventually settling in Hanover, MA, and upon retirement from Polaroid, he relocated to Cape Cod. Once retired, he became president of St. Vincent de Paul at Holy Trinity Church and volunteered at the local food pantry.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie, and his children and their spouses, Russell Jr. and Christine Hall of North Kingstown, RI, David and Robin Hall of Kingston, MA, Daniel Hall and Andi Johnson of Newport, RI, Kathryn and Albert Nover of Bedford, NH, Jennifer and James Adams of Millis, MA, and 10 grandchildren.
A wake will be held at Morris, O'Connor and Blute funeral home, 678 Main St. in Harwich Center on Friday, February 7 from 4-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Harwich, MA on Saturday February 8th at 11 am. There will be a private burial at a later date.
