      MRS. VIOLA E. LYLE BURIED IN JEFFERSON CO.,
      Mrs. Viola E. Lyle, age 76 died as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday June 13th at her home on R. 2, Scottsburg, near Lexington.
      The daughter of John and Margaret Gray Hall, she was originally from Jefferson County, but had lived in Scott for the past 18 years. She was the widow of the late Willard Lyle.
      For many years she had been a member of the Liberty Methodist Chruch.
      Surviving are her sons Noah W. Lyle, Lexington, Ansel O. Lyle, R. 2, Scottsburg, daughters Mrs. Alice Amos, R. 1 Lexington and  Mrs. Jean Hall R. 1 Lexington, eleven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
      The Rev. Grester L. Kemp, pastor of the Scottsburg Methodist church, officiated at the funeral services at two o'clock Monday afternoon at the Stewart Memorial Funeral home. Interment was at Slippery Point, Jefferson county cemetery.
