Son of Henry Howland & brother of Plymouth Pilgrim John & Rhode Island Quaker Arthur. Probably born at Fenstanton, Huntingdonshire, by about 1603 (based on estimated date of marriage). Came to Plymouth Colony in 1632. Died in Duxbury MA, 16 Jun 1674.

Married Mary ____ by about 1628 (assuming that she was the mother of all his children). :Mary Howland who had been the wife of Hennery." died at Duxbury, 16 Jun 1674.(The claim that Mary was a Newland is unsupported.)
Their 7 children: Abigail Young, Zoeth, Samuel, John, Mary Cudworth, Sarah Dennis, Elizabeth Allen, & Joseph.
