- UXBRIDGE -- Thomas D. Brundage Jr., 69, of Uxbridge, a Korean War veteran, died Sunday, Dec. 30, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, Milford.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Doris L. (Greene) Brundage; a son, Thomas D. Brundage III of Uxbridge; two brothers, Charles H. Brundage of Uxbridge and George A. Brundage of Maryland; a sister, Martha M. Brundage of Uxbridge; a grandson; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Milford, son of Thomas D. and Bertha F. (Kelley) Brundage, and lived his entire life here. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Brundage owned and operated the former T.B. Auto Repair, Bellingham, retiring in 1998. After retiring, he worked as a courier for several area insurance companies. Previously, he worked at Champagne Brothers and Menard Ford, both in Woonsocket, R.I. He was a member of Charles A. Rice Post 33 American Legion and the Uxbridge Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1385. He enjoyed collecting antique radios and record players.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, in Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Mendon Street. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grambo Dialysis Center, 54 Hopedale St. Hopedale, MA 01747, or to the Northbridge Nursing Home Activity Center, 2356 Providence Road, Northbridge, MA 01534.
