  From FindaGrave: Joseph Hinckly was the son of Sylvanus Hinckley and Bethia Lewis. He was a descendant of John Howland, Elizabeth Tilley, John Tilley, Joan Tilley, Thomas Rogers, and John Rogers all passangers on the Mayflower. He married Rebecca Lewis in 1826 in Massachusetts. They had the following children: Elizabeth, Joseph N., Eliza, Wendall and Christina. He married Lucy Shiverick on 27 Aug 1838 in Massachusetts. They had the following children: Frederick, Nancy and Lucy. He married Polly Simmons on 13 Mar 1843 in Massachusetts. They had Sylvia who died at 2 months 13 Sep 1845 in Centerville, Massachusetts. He married Elizabeth A. Childs in 1851. They moved from Massachusetts to New Jersey in about 1851. They had the following children: Thomas C., Ezra, Amy, Edward, George, Eliza, Ida, and Eliza. They moved to Benton County between 1866 and 1870.
