Arthur G. Hall, 74, Dies Near Douglas
Arthur G. Hall, 74-year-old Oronoco township resident near Douglas, died today at the home of a son after illness of several hours.
Mr. Hall, retired grocery store operator at Sparta, Wis., and Olmsted county resident seven years, had been employed at Hotel Kahler the past year and a half. He was born at Tunnel City, Wis., June 26, 1871, and married Elizabeth Becker there June 14, 1899.
Survivors are five sons, Arthur F. Hall, Douglas, at whose home Mr. Hall died, Harry F., of Sparta, Earl C. and Kenneth G. of Sauk City, Wis., and Barton W. of Wilton, Wis., 20 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother, Earl C. of Tunnel City, and sister, Mrs. Edward Becker, Tomah, Wis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Ranfranz funeral home with Dr. Harold G. Trost, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating and interment Wednesday at Tunnel City.
