- Geo. Smead's Son-in-law Dies in New York Hospital
Word was recieved in Allentown of the death of Cyril Gordon Bispham, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Smead, of 2950 Gordon street, in Bellevue hospital, New York City, Friday night at the age of 26 years.
Mr. Bispham married Miss Dorothy Smead, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Smead in August, 1933, and recently moved to Westwood, N. J. Mr. Bispham was in the photographic advertising business with a studio in the Grand Central Palace, New York City.
A week ago Mr. Bispham was taken to Bellevue hospital, where it was found he was suffering from a tumor of the brain. No hope, however, was held out for the young man by the hospital authorities, Much sympathy is expressed by many friends of Mrs. Bispham and her parents here principally because there is an infant daughter born three weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Smead were in New York at the time of Mr. Bispham's death.
Mr. Bispham was a son of Mrs. Minnie Bispham, of Philadelphia, who with the widow and infant daughter survive. The funeral will he held Monday from the home of Mr. Bispham's mother.
