Miss Georgina Hazeltine to Wed Ensign Hardee
Mrs. Gibson Williams has announced the engagement of her daughter, Miss Georgina Hazeltine, to Ensign W. Covington Hardee, U. S. N. R., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Hardee of Florence, So. Carolina. Miss Hazeltine is the daughter of Professor H. D. Hazeltine of Cambridge University, England, and the granddaughter of Mrs. George F. Graves.
The bride-elect attended the Chatelard School in Switzerland and was graduated from Marlborough School in Los Angeles, in June 1941 from Bennington College. During the last academic year Miss Hazeltine has been at Simmons College School of Social Work.
Ensign Hardee was graduated from Emory University and studied at the Harvard Law School until March of this year when he received his commission in the United States Naval Reserve.
The wedding will take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts on September fifth.

The principal figure in a lovely wedding Satuday in Christ church in Cambridge, Mass., was Miss Georgina Hazeltine, daughter of Prof. Harold D. Hazeltine, of Cambridge, Mass., and Cambridge, England, and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hazeltine, of Warren.
The Rev. Gardiner M. Day officiated for the marriage of Miss Hazeltie to W. Covington Hardee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abram L. Hardee, of Florence, S.C. A reception followed at the Harvard Faculty Club.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and attended by Miss Evermond Hardee, sister of the bridegroom, as maid of honor; and the following as Bridesmaids; Miss Anne Forbes, of Cambridge; Miss Natalie Krug, Lexington; Miss Betty Stone, Attleboro; Mrs. Robert W. Day, Chestnut Hill.
Mr. Hardee was his son's best man and ushers were Warren Ludlam, of Meridan, Miss.; Sanborn Chase, Florence; Lansing Lee, Augusta, Ga.; Ensign Victor Schwartz of Providence, and James Rhodes, Atlanta, Ga.
After a wedding trip to New Hampshire, Mr. and Mrs. Hardee will live in Cambridge. Mrs. Hardee was graduated from Bennington College in 1941, attened school in Europe and was graduated from the Marlborough School in Los Angeles in 1937. Mr. Hardee was graduated from Emory University in Atlanta and attended Harvard Law School.
Hugh V. Hazeltine of Warren was in Cambridge for his niece's wedding.
